About

I am a passionate gardener living in Southern California’s Zone 10, where I cultivate a thriving edible garden year-round. With a deep love for sustainable and organic growing methods, I focus on soil health, companion planting, and maximizing small urban spaces for food production. My hands-on experience has taught me how to work with the region’s unique Mediterranean climate—navigating drought, intense sun, and occasional cool winters to grow a diverse array of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. From building healthy compost to creating microclimates for heat-sensitive plants, I enjoy experimenting with techniques that make gardening both productive and enjoyable.

Beyond just growing food, I believe in fostering a deeper connection with nature through regenerative practices. Whether it’s using homemade compost tea, attracting beneficial insects for natural pest control, or succession planting for continuous harvests, I’m always looking for ways to improve the garden’s ecosystem. I love sharing my experiences with fellow gardeners, helping beginners and seasoned growers alike make the most of their space, no matter how big or small. Gardening in Southern California is an adventure, and I’m here to help others embrace its challenges and rewards.
